Lets start 0.1.2.3....2013

              To the beginning

Of all the bells...and the hymns ...and the wishes....lingers a silent sigh across the length and breadth of my country.  It is disheartening to see the ever tightening  vicious clutches of  Gender-ed violence in every nook and corner . Time for us to think and work on a collective resolution, for a family without violence, a society without discrimination ,a nation without intolerance and a world without war.

The seeds of gender-ed  violence is so engraved in our society that ,we need a macro approach to uproot it.The whole majority of the human population is shaped by the society into which he is born and in which he makes a living ,leaving us with lesser options to blame entirely on genetic traits. On these grounds, our State calls for  timely reforms and effective implementation in judicial ,executive and legislative levels to see that people don't cry for justice anymore. Let the focus be not simply confined to whom to run to when a mishap happens, or how the accused be punished. Why would we run at all, when nothing went wrong at the first place? Why could there be an accused when there is no victim?

Our country has always been very reactive to wiping off the vices of society down the pages of history.I believe its all about mustering the courage to fight( united) against such deviance, across socio cultural and political fronts. To free women from sexual assaults, dowry deaths, domestic violence or honour killings. To respect the dignity of life...

Lets start the count down to a better future....to a safer planet.Wishing you all a happy new year.Wake up to the difference.

MILES TO TOE

   MILES TO TOE

Everybody seek returns,
As everybody wait for turns.
Life is not so just and right,
For always it has been a fight.
Running off is never a chance,
Leaving behind eternal pangs:
For all I have today,
Have been waiting for the day.

 Well rewind it,
Unwind it,
‘Coz for the day, I wouldn’t benumb.

 Got to go for,
Miles to toe for,
‘Coz life is just another climb
 OH…Just another climb.

Mazel tov

             Mazel tov

 Ah! ‘Tis the dawn chorus.
Gleams, the dewy mountains before us;
Drowsy dreams, bidding Adieu
Falling apart for a life anew.

Hail! The blithe skylark again,
Singing aloft, setting no pain.
“Hold on to the trident above-
Maketh of faith, hope and love”.

Bless ‘Tis a morn with a promise,
Not yet stale to dismiss.
A prayer in the making finally,
That today we wake eternally.

Vanishing point

          Vanishing point
Oh   where do we rest?
After all that tedious quest.
For all that is bright,
Won’t forever be right
Comest thou filled with ambitions,
And demand and conditions.

Alas ! lay the man of spirit,
Confessing the saga of merit.
Embracing the trance of silence,
Transgressing the reminiscence of violence.
For ain’t we guests,
On Earth to do our best?

Red in Snow ...

Snow that will never drift away,
Falling for me right from the heavens
Dancing all through their way,
Spreading a heartfelt smile over my face

Kissing my eyes it makes me feel fine,
And it takes no time to fall in love
Here I stand completely on clound nine,
Pouring out the melodies inside me

[hmmmmmmmmmm........]

Reminding me of that special moment,
Sweeps away all my troubles
With every beat of my heart,
Making me see a thousand dreams

Here I stand all in love and compassion
Feels like someone holds me safe and warm
And as you gently caress my finger tips
I dedicate this song ,for the Snow that will never drift away

Life of the Spirit

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main......

Bang On !!hats off to JOHN DONNE for this wonderful expression. Each and every posts in a blog speaks of the blogger and his perception. But what could be the source ?If am not wrong, every posts in a blog originates from a subject line which itself has a history of its own.All my posts have a story,a history that speaks of how they manged to get into my blog page. And so today,I thought to put in my source for this particular post.I would like to introduce one of my friends,Elvin, who became instrumental for this post.He stirred up my thoughts in defining ,"absoluteness and imagination and its relevance in bringing in a state of contentment in every individual".I thought of giving it a try,and here it goes:

Absoluteness is a state of compleateness,a quality of being absolute. To be an absolute individual,is a state of mind-quite abstract in all aspects. Is there any well defined criteria or fundas for being an absolute individual??????Absolutely no.In that case,it is tough to define the state of being absolute.Hang on......But we got a way out.Absoluteness in human contentment can better be defined with the aid of Rationalism. We all live in a world where rationalism rules.Absoluteness becomes a flawless state if thaught rationally. In such a platform, every individual sets some target for attaining contentment in his life.Once he achieves it ,he calls himself to be an absolute individual. But then it is a temporary state of mind, because, once he achieves a target,he sets out for the next target. The process is continous in nature and the result is experiancing a state of contentment which we call absoluteness.Hence i believe that no mortal can acheive a state of absoluteness ,because the nature to crave for more is what drives us.

Imagination on the other hand draws more from creativity. It is something that is solely yours-unlike belief ,it is not something that you share socially. But Aristotle reminds us that "the soul never thinks without an image". The trans-rational – for better or worse – is always in tandem with the rational. If the truth be told, we are probably more likely to understand a matter and be moved to appropriate action if the imagination is alive and well. We are also less likely to be seduced by abstractions. There is an old Latin proverb: "Fortis imaginatio generat causam" which, literally translated, says, "A strong imagination generates the cause". In other words, imagination has the power to set us in motion towards some end – it causes things to happen, for better or worse. Moreover, when you believe in your power of imagination ,you will develop your ability to get over the fear of unknown(greatest weakness of man).No matter you succeed or not,but it is always better to bore the responsibility for the decisions you have taken in your life.

In a subjective platform ,belief in the power of one's imagination brings in more contentment than the crave for absoluteness in life.Since every individual is unique ,generalisation is out of question. However, thoughts on subjects like these would help us to read ourselves which inturn helps us in filling the blank spaces of our lives.
